WELCOME!
Director - Michael Williams

Thank you for visiting the Cape Fear High School Department of Instrumental Music website. I encourage you to take a look at the exciting educational opportunity that Cape Fear Bands have to offer you! Our program is comprehensive in scope and affords everyone an opportunity for performance, education, leadership, and service.

For everyone involved, the skills gained in our music education program and performance ensembles seek to achieve the same skill sets that will make you a highly successful individual in both life and your career endeavors. Members of Cape Fear Bands are totally committed to excellence, self-discipline, individual responsibility, and a strong sense of family.

Both my staff and I are excited about the opportunities that our department and ensembles have to offer our students. Over the past few years, our ensembles have had the privilege to perform on a national level in several states and in front of tens of thousands of people.

Furthermore, our graduates have proudly and consistently maintained the top ten percent of every graduating senior class. Our graduates have  gone on to attend and graduate from every major University in the State of North Carolina.

If you have any questions or need further assistance in becoming a member our would like to become a corporate sponsor and support these dyanamic young people please contact me personally (910) 483-0191 ext 365 or email:
